Technically speaking, .png files are just another file extension for a type of image. It's very similar to a .jpg or .jpeg file, but are able to carry different properties across. When we ask for a .png file for stickers, it's with implication that you have a contour cut image already pre-made by someone. Since pictures are by default some form of square (rectangles are squares), contour cut images would save as a square meaning it would still print and cut as a square. UNLESS the picture is saved as a .png file -- which will preserve the transparency around the picture. With a .png file (if contour cut) your picture will print and cut as the contoured shape rather than a square.
We no longer offer just 1 or 2 custom sticker orders in efforts to keep costs low and save the environment. Although it may seem ordering just 1 or 2 won't use much materials, the stickers are still being printed and cut from the same amount of paper. For this reason, we've changed the quantities to reflect the most economical for both you as the customer and environmental for the planet -- which will utilize as much of the paper as possible while keeping costs low.
Order completion time varies depending on the product and quantity you're getting. However the start of production is entirely contingent upon how soon the artwork is completed. On average:
Colors the machine can print and colors you see on a monitor are different. Computer monitors can display millions of colors as RGB (Red, Green, Blue). The color laser machine uses a 4-color printing process of CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black). The machine uses these 4 colors to create as many colors as possible, but may not be able to reproduce the colors on your monitor. Additionally, what we see on a computer monitor is emitted light, while what we see on a printed document is reflected light. Due to this difference, we can't get a 100% accurate match. The paper brightness and smoothness will also affect the colors you see printed on the page.
Due to the nature of custom products, we can't offer a redo or refund on print issues caused by the customer end of things. If you have a problem with your order, please send photos of the issue and a detailed explanation to sean@vexelbae.com. Once we can confirm that it's a print defect, we'll be happy to send out replacements.
Our contour cut stickers usually feature a white border to help the subject stand out from the background. Without a white border around it, the sticker will blend back into the background if you stick it somewhere with similar colors! You can request that your contour cut stickers not have a white border, but it's not recommended if you want to stand out.
We do sometimes offer combined shipping, but only for items of the same design. This is to ensure that your products don't get damaged, mixed up, or lost during shipping as well as ensure a lower shipping cost altogether. Believe it or not, shipping everything in one huge box is more expensive than shipping everything individually! And since there are different sized items, they're most likely to shift during transit which can cause damages.
Sure! But your work won't start until payment is received. We know you're good for your money and word, but it's to protect ourselves in case you decide to change your mind on us. :(
Unfortunately, creating and designing your artwork for print is already more than half the battle. Without securing payment first, it would be valuable time lost on our end should you decide to change your mind. Don't worry though, once you're a paying customer, we go over everything you expect out of your purchase and send proofs of how something will look before we send it into print. If there is anything you'd like to change, the proofing process would be the time to let us know.
